Well you ony needed to pay 200,000 for the bridge. So you wasted the other 300,000 (as in no, they don't count towards the funds for the fountain). The fountain is 400,000 MORE, not total, so donate that many for the fountain. Oh and google "Animal Crossing Lets Go To The Wiki" for an online guide to the game. It helped me ^^
