I feel bad for Misa, even after light sides and the hole Kira thing goes she still has the eyes. That and imagine how much life she has left after Rem dies.

You should never let love get the best of you. Even if u love that person very much, what would they want u to do? Stay alive or be dead? But in Death Note Light doesn't give two shits about Misa (since he wants to be Kira and all that crap), and uses her so easily that the fans of the anime (or even the manga) have a reason 2 call her dumb. Misa could've have been a better, stronger character for all we know. Likable, yes (even I liked her), but smart and strong, sadly no.

Anime: After Light dies, Near is offered the "Death Note Eraser" and erases L's name

Movie: L catches Light, but to avoid being killed by Rem, he writes his own name. He wrote L. Lawliet which couldn't be his real name because it would only be it after they found out that he would be a detective

Now, if you don't believe any of these theories, Near could be a reincarnation of L as people think Light is the unnamed shinigami in the directors cut
