My Opinions: One hell of a combat knife! This is mostly a sheer combat knife, with a little utility thrown in. Ideal for soldiers and LEO, but available to everyone. With its natural beauty, it also makes a great addition to any collection. The forward raked guard and generous palm swell really do make it feel like it grew from your hand, that is not marketing hype!

Advantages:

+Forward raked guard and palm swell fit will in hand
+Good proven stainless steel
+Good look to the canvas Micarta
+Perfectly matched grind lines
+Fit and finish GREAT
+Good decent price for quality of knife
+Made in USA
+Hollow ground and razor sharp
+Bead Blasted finish very durable
+Feels great in hand with no hard spots for blistering
+Large choil to make sharpening faster and easier
+Full Tang
+Easily removed scales on handle
+Full lifetime warrenty
+Socket in guard used for both sheath retention and firedrill socket

Disadvantages:

-Sheath noisy
-No drainage hole

  • i had one and the kydex sheath scratched up the aluminium guard a LOT. i didnt like that at all.

  • Kydex scratches steel and anything less hard than it, including alluminum, not really a fault of the maker, just the materials in general.

  • That looks like a manly knife.

  • That is is.

  • £232 in the Uk

  • kill knife, who would need that for general use...?

  • Entrek seems underrated and the spear point Merc is one substancial piece. Buy USA!

  • Thats an awesome knife, id have a leather sheath made for it, cuz i think that sucks that the kydex scratches it.. its too nice to have such a crappy shieth.

  • but it doesnt make the knife better looking .another solution would be better.
