Here is a Quick Take on the new Schneider True Match Vari-ND Filter. This is one of the better fader filters on the market. There are some limitations. For more info check us out at www.wideopencamera.com This bad boy is not cheap at around $450 US.

You get what you pay for. Cheap filters are for cheap lenses. This looks good!

Maybe out of $450 they couldn't budget for a front thread.. or markings that don't look like Tipp-ex.
Pffffftt!.....
I don't see the issue with a potential minor color variation from using a regular fader ND.
We have color variations in almost all lights and even the sun changes color throughout the day. That's why we have white balance and M/G + B/A adjustments on (most?) cameras.
