@ConditionOfAnonymity Are we allowed to hate (reject) sin? Specially homosexuality, pedophilia, or bestiality? When did Jesus every defend, justify, speak on the behalf of the sinner's sin? Sure he came to save them. This process involves repentance, ouch, that means to turn your back on what you are and do, in order to turn to God and his will & way...

Sin is selfish, but to restrict it to "nothing but" this or that, is a stretch. Read Lev. 4:13 (and surrounding versus), you'll see that an offering had to be made, which acknowledges our 'Sins committed in ignorance". Interesting read. People that believe Satan and his lies about their sexuality could be more like Eve eating of the fruit, whereas Adam was responsible, as his sin was the willful one, passing the curse to all. Not excusing sin, willful or ignorant.

@ironmountainrotts The argument that Ray has invoked is that God has made him to be as he is. If that was true, he MAY be in the clear on a couple of points. The problem I have with that argument is the idea that God would make him to be what is pretty clearly spelled out in scripture as unacceptable. I find your limitations on how God works to be more of a presumption on your part.
