  • I’m not advocating wiping out human kind, nor is he, but he is saying that if that is the mindset, then so be it. I’d have to agree on this point.

  • @muphart Yes we do have our preferences for what we like in people. Being "aware" in the context I was speaking (there is such a thing) means that you are in tune with other people around you. UG doesn't appear to be in tune with anything but his own frustration here. The fact you say he is old and senile here only validates my points.

  • @MentalHygieneMusic We have our preferences for what we like in people, but that has nothing to do with being "aware," if there is such a thing. He often points out the ridiculousness of the fact that we are expected to fit into a narrow definition of what it means to be an ideal human being. Plus he's old and senile here. When he was younger, he was totally polite as to not offend people. We also don't know the familiarity he may have with the people he's talking to in the clip.

  • @muphart I did not know him personally. Did you? I wish I had known him because he is a very interesting person, however I don't agree with the way he communicates with people. It's not that there is anything wrong with anger....as long as you can control it which UG seemed to have trouble doing. Truly aware people have no problem controlling their emotions, in fact for the fully aware no effort is even needed for this control. Maybe I can off a little too harsh in my first comments.

  • @MentalHygieneMusic Did you know him? I've never seen any youtube clips where he claims that nothing matters or in which he is speaking publicly. He gets angry when asked the same questions over and over again, but whats wrong with anger? I can make my cat or dog angry one moment and then be petting them the next while they're loving it. There's no indication of bottled up anger in these clips or by people who knew him.

  • UG was an entertainer/philosophical comedian ... he underwent some process that brought him into the state of a dog, cat, any creature of nature ... so he became a domesticated pet that traveled the world and someone always took him in, fed him, gave him money ... he was like having a cool dog around the house

  • Seemed more and more angry and combative as he got older, too.

  • I feel that U.G. was a highly intelligent person and I believe that what happened to him 'really' happened and that he was in this 'state' but one thing that bothers me is when he seems to argue against something someone says for the sake of negating it even though his negation is clearly ridiculous and he isn't well versed enough on a subject to make such claims. And that's what we call a 'run on' sentence ;o)

  • @BroJeetKune It's true! The 'speed of light' is the speed of light in a vacuum. Even 'empty' space is not a complete vacuum, so yes, not even light actually travels at the 'speed of light'. Sadly, he wasn't alive to see the reports of experiments showing neutrinos traveling faster than light. Crazy shit!
