@fyphfoko You should read up on seat belts. They are designed to stretch under the immense force of deceleration. This slows you down at a "manageable" level. This doesn't necessarily apply at very high speeds, as the force becomes too great; however, at these speeds, you are considerably more likely to survive wearing a seat belt than not.

Oh I hate this

THIS. DOESN'T. MAKE. SENSE!
if thats what killed him, how the flak is a seatbelt supposed to prevent it. it wouldn't. he would stop faster but his internal orgens ...
oh thats it. no more seatbelt for me......

Run a search for "Amber Gambler," another PIF that answers this question (and tells you it's his own fault for racing the traffic at red lights!)

but wearing a seatbelt would stop you more abrubtly causing greater acceleration of your internal organs.

But you don't go quite so far forward as you would without a seatbelt, so presumably there's less force and the arteries don't rip out of your heart like in this charming little film?

don't know why it's called three strikes

Basically, the idea is that in a crash the car stops first, then your body stops, then your internal organs (after your broken ribs have torn through your heart etc.)
