  • I looked at the pattern and didn't see a border described for the top and bottom. Do you usually put a border on the top and bottom? The sides already have a kind of border, but I don't know if having no border on the top and bottom of a cable pattern would be a good idea. What do you do?

  • i dont put a border on the top and bottom

  • I love that scarf. I have been planning to make one of these for awhile. You have inspired me to get one started. What is your favourite yarn for this project?

I can't wait to see your tutorial. I have never seen cabling done without a cable needle before.

  • I like cascade 220...i find 2 skiens make s nice size scarf....I knit that one on size 7 needles....

  • wow you knit fast...that's awesome! I just posted a vid on my page showing off my scarf...not the one u were making though...if you wanna watch it...if not that's cool too :)

  • hey what's your ravelry username, i'd love to view any projects you have posted on there. nice work.

  • it's sooooooooo beautifullllllll!! I've never attempted irish hiking patterns but I admire them so much. I enjoy your videos, I get your sense of humor. congrats on the knitting progress

  • For the irish hiking scarf you just keep repeating the 8 rows that are in the patern. So for example you have knit rows 1- 8 you knit rows 1-8 over and over and over again until long enough then end on row 7 and bind off. Hope that helps you!

  • Started my irish hiing scarf today! After the first 2 repeats , it becomes very easy to knit and do something else like watch youtube videos, have conversations ect!! I love love love this pattern!!!

  • Love the yarn what are you using? Does the Boss Dude like his scarf? Love the man face!!! Thanks for posting, you have inspired me to make my own irish hiking scarf!

  • ladies don't get attention for knitting in public. a young good looking guy that can knit like you though, that is worth stopping to see. wow, you work very fast and have a lot of difficult patterns. some cool youtube's. maybe you could knit little animals. the art as a name like oragami, but is for knitting or crocheting little animals and toys.

  • awe i really like that scarf! i think its really cute. I saw your video and was like i wanna be that good! lol but keep it up! Really funny, i like how you were like if you knit in public your a an attention whore... TRUE! lol :P
