is it 3ft in height or depth? thats an amazing viv you got there. im currently doing a rock wall project of my own. im using polestyrene and will coat it in pva and then some non toxic paint to give the rockies effect. is that what you used for your rock effect? p.s im looking to do an amazing setup and i couldnt help but notice your welsh butt. are you anywhere nere llantwit? coz i need some advice and your setup is clearly amazing. also, im completely lost as to what to do next

Would you recommend this sort of a project for an amateur to build? I've very little experience in crafting these sorts of things, though I do plan to get another beardie soon and I want to give him a larger setup. Perhaps not as colossal as this, though. Anyone's reply would be greatly appreciated :)

@arterialshadow just think about what u want to achieve and picture it in your mind, then carve individual pieces with a bread knife and clue blocks together to make bigger rocks and so on, just keep adding them. it always looks crap until you add the grout and paint. but remember to carve anything deeper than normal as the grount fills up too much of the space otherwise. Good luck
