at last a NZ surf flick that doesn't have all the wank that usually goes with surf DVDs. ie. some idiot 22 yr old sponsored surfer from rags trying to act all ghetto and making half-assed attempts to be ironic in their interviews. sure, they can surf, but string a sentence together or hold a conversation with a normal person? you must be joking...

The most consistent south island spots are along the west coast but not a lot is known about the spots by non locals. Everything from the south thru west from antarctica hits The west coast and the southland breaks HARD

Yeah bro, its a underrated surf spot the naki, all you need is offshore winds and you should get some quality waves with west coast power

Never got down there but heard there's some wicked set ups. There's already a local DVD called Endless winter that's got the south island covered.
