All kidding aside, I really am proud of this piece, and I may just have a new favorite. Yep, after three failed attempts, I FINALLY came up with something worth finishing. I've been wanting to do a proper Axel-tribute for a long time, and was considering waiting for Sony Vegas (which I've asked for for Christmas, btw), but the more I thought about it, the more I thought WMM might be able to handle it, so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. ^^

My opinions about Axel are somewhat complicated, but nonetheless straightforward. But I don't go for some idealized version of him, oh no. He's my favorite character in Kingdom Hearts (and possibly ever), but he's not a hero. He's not a victim either. He doesn't have a heart, and he most CERTAINLY isn't homosexual, whatever the fangirls tell you. He is a manipulative, backstabbing asshole with conflicting loyalties and a skewed sense of morality. However, Sora's ability to connect with people gave Axel the first semblances of actual emotions in ten years, so naturally some character development was in order. But I could rant all day about Axel's motives, so just watch the video. =P

Such an amazing video, hun! I love seeing "adult" characters as kids and vice versa! It never gets old. ^^ Lea was so damn CUTE as a kid too. XD This came out so well... and the song is perfect for him too! This is most definately my favorite of your vids so far! ^^

@LightningSorceress i may have a new favorite myself. ^^ i immediately thought of axel when i heard the song, but the ideas for the video didn't come together all at once like they usually do. the main thing was that he's NOT a good person, but he'd like to be one if he could.

I'm amazed to see this quality of a video being done on WMM. I can see that you have great video making talents! I hope you get more recognition and can't wait to see what you can do with a professional program!
