I myself was born in 66. i was introduced to Duncan's music in the early 80s by friends older than I. Thanks for posting. A nice reminder of vibes no longer present.

Three cheers for the folks at BBC4. It's been a great year for music on that channel from cheesy TOTP 1976 to songwriter circles and all the rest, and the singer songwriter series at the Beeb is the icing on the cake. I can't believe that there's nothing available by Lesley Duncan, so thanks for posting this, long live YouTube!

The 70's was my era for music ( born in the 50's ), missed this lady though, i too saw the bbc 4 programme, i watch the channel every friday for the fact you can go down memory lane !! I've scoured the internet also, found The Mother Earth c.d from Play.com which i've ordered. Todays music doesn't come close to this perfection

Heard this Friday Night on BBC4, has been with me all weekend, there's something really special going on here with this song, it's about 35 years old and I can not believe this has slipped through the net. There's also something in Lesley's aura in the video that tells you she must have been a warm and genuine woman. Get this on Radio 2 and let's have a hit!

Having heard this on BBC4 have been trawling the web and amazed and saddened that her music is not available in CD other than Earth Mother. This is a criminal waste of talent. Hope some record company sorts this out before we are all gone!

Agree with those who saw this on BBC4 last night. The stuff they must have in their vaults.
Half knew her stuff in the 70s, but going to revisit it now.
