The title is misleading and incorrect. "Is fear of Islam racist?" would be the accurate way to pose the question looming around Islamophobia.

Religion and Enlightenment do not go hand in hand. It puzzles me as to why any person of Faith would want to attend a place of learning, other than their place of faith, which by the way, they think has all the answers. Quite bizarre. Let them have their Religion, but worship in private without indoctrinating children. It's disgusting.

I fucking loved Christopher Hitchens. He just told it as it was, just like George Carlin, Bill Hicks, or David Hume. The man was awesome, he had balls of steel and wasn't afraid to attack the attackers. Truly one of the best of the new atheists. I really hope we see more people like him emerging.
