Creating a New Image: DE2-70 Board - Image editor with JPEG/JPEG2000 compressor

Image editor using an DE2-70 board (Altera/Terasic). Images can be created and saved as .JPG and JP2(JPEG2000 file). A NIOS II processor in the Cyclone II compresses the image and send it to the host computer using the UART. As input device, the LTM touch panel by Terasic is used.
