80km Desert Ride, endurance ride in 2002 with over 100 starters. I came in 21st with an average speed of 14km per hour with a horse I loaned and trained myself, this was our first season and we were still learning, the winners averaged over 22 km per hour so I was really pleased with the performance.

  • I am sweating watching, you are very brave.

What a beautiful arabian. Do they have to be young to start endurance, I mean not till after their bones have finished their growth at seven? I am looking forward to visiting Qatar this year if I can find horse/cat/dog sitters!

When is the best time re-horses? I am from N.W. Scotland and am wilting at the thought of the heat alone. Well I will dream on in the hope of finding someone to train my arab.

    The video captured everything. Thanks.
