I thought there would be problems with the infamous russian hooligans. but i must say that they are very nice people, they enjoyed our vodka and konjak :D there were minimal interventions by the police.

Russia would have done much better than slovenia in South Africa. Russia played much better overall. And Russia didn't have Arshavin the second match. If they did they would have put Slovenia out easily. I hate the away goals rule.

When I see the highlight from any other TV (except the Russian one) I see that the cameras there are on the other side of the stadium. The same applies for the reverse match. Why does Russian TV always take cameras from the other side of the stadium opposed to the rest of Europe (wprld??)

This is cos of the commercials, one side of the camera is for Russian market and has Russian commercials, and the other is for Slovenian market with their commercials.
Soccer is a big business.
