Maya 3D Animation - Virus Invasion

Group project midterm for computer animation II class.

Basic idea is that organic viruses are taking over a computer, the computer's firewall/anti-virus/whatever kicks in to fight the viruses.

I did the modelling of the robot and all animation and special effects involving it, such as bursts, vulcan, fireballs, explosions, the poster in the bedroom, and all animation during the robot battle.

My other group members did the lighting, viruses, motherboard and bedroom modelling and all other scenes. A three man project.

There was a bit of problem in the scene where the viruses are shot. When they explode you dont see the bullets go through them. I had no idea 3D fluid containers block off particles. At least thats the only reasoning I can think of. I don't think the instructor noticed or cared though.
