I agree with everyones posts here,Gillan certainly rocked harder than Purple ever did? Excellent mix of hard-rock,blues,and punk guitar,with THE best musicianship from its members combined with THE best rock vocalist. If you read the nme/melody maker/ etc of the day,and possessed the Future Shock album with attached scrap book? Then you`llknoe there was a word for Gillan-Itwas "Cock Rock Gone Mad"! Haha!

This band is just shit hot.Gillan rocked a ton harder than the Purple ever did.Raw rock at it's best,almost proto punk with classical overtones.Wild.
