deregulation , executive greed and incompetence destroyed the US airline flag carriers , they should be brought back , Eastern ,Pan Am and TWA , the airlines of today have no quality , service or respect for their passengers. They treat everyone like a criminal that is why I drive. To make the airlines safe again keep the arabs and their brothers off airplanes permanently. They belong on a camel .End of story. Thanks

Do you remember when the sky tower at Carowinds was sponsored by Eastern and they played this music on it. I miss that!

@thetitanicisdead lol I didnt know they were called whisperliners - 26 year resident of WInthrop Ma (next to Logan International) and hearing those engines rev up for take off was like no other plane. I recall Eastern had one of the largest terminals at Logan.

I loved Eastern, it was the #1 class airline! I started flying it in 1970, and chose it over any other anytime I flew it's route!

I always flew Eastern over Delta when I lived in Atlanta in the 80s. I loved their L-1011s! Fly Eastern! Now its either American or United for me.
