Keeper of Anthropology Wayne Modest talks about the ijele, a giant ritualistic mask in the centre of the African Worlds gallery at the Horniman Museum, which was created in the space by Nigerian artists in the late 1990s. The Horniman Museum's Music and Ethnography Collections have been identified as Designated Collections by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA). This means they are of national and international importance. This video was made to promote the Designated Collections by Culture24 - www.culture24.org.uk
