Last house I painted you could see the caulk marks on the cedar in a few spots. Is it possibly from not giving the caulk enough dry time?

We ABSOLUTELY ALWAYS use caulk n exteriors in cracks. its the true pro way to do it here. what do you guys in the uk use for cracks and penetrations?

exterior fillers (weather properties) and good old putty
Tim,
Thanks for the video! One quick question: would you suggest caulking the horizontal joints between the siding planks?

@echtconservative No!! Do NOT caulk the underside horizontal cracks on lap siding. This is a place for water vapor and even liquid water to escape.

Here's the only tip you need. Hire a PROFESSIONAL. Before it's too late!

That's one of the funniest comments I read this week. A dedicated homeowner can absolutely do a superb job on their own. They just need to follow the instructions on the label of the paint can and take their time.

Hello rodnisimo, seems to be like you are a painter, you may think, giving tips to people, you loose money, its not, dumbass, just shut ur mouth and sit in a corner, do not switch on your computer and we didn't invite u here either.

Now, now... There's no need to be rude. The Court of Public Opinion - all those who read the comments - can easily make their own judgement about rodnisimo's comment. Believe me, a vast majority of people who read what he said are shaking their heads as they walk into the garage to grab their paint brushes.
