Minature Gold Chevy Blown Engine (RC)

Check out my project engine!

Here's my "Clod-sessive Compulsion"...a minature radio-controlled model Chevy engine for a big Radio Controlled Monster Truck project. This is based off the Revell 1/6 die-cast model. To say that I've worked hard on this would be an understatment. =P

Some Custom parts include:
*Butterfly valves (made from thumbtacks, an inflator needle and a paperclip)
*Lathed pulley with setscrews for an internal belt system
*Throttle linkage brass backplate (moves along with the butterflies)

Of note is that I brainstormed these ideas on my own about a year ago...only now I see toys with similar features in Target for $15-$20!

I was going to do the same thing with a Hemi model from Parma and put it in a rail dragster, but wound up getting lazy and just putting the kit together. Fantastic Work!

apartetly you dont notice that theres no gas tank but instead there are wires and a electronic motor controller and the fact that the butterfly valves are made from thumbtacks, an inflator needle and a paperclip
