  • Well, though I know the piano is very much out of tune, I keep in mind what music is about. It's about sounds, but much more than that. Music reflects life. This is about peace. It's about mankind Loving each other, and also slightly melancholy at it not currently being that way. I like that the piano is out of tune. It reminds me not of a performance, but of someone's home. I've been studying classical music and music theory for 11 years, but... this is just all the more... (continued)

  • @ChopinFanatic19 Thank you. I have a new piano ( digital ) and I thought that it could sound better, but no. May be I could play it with the new one, but definitely it won't have the same spirit.

  • ....great interpret.

but..... can u oil your chair, please??

    :)

  • :) 10x. When I noticed it, was too late

  • This is very hard to enjoy, since the piano is very much out of tune. It hurts!

  • @drinchev Yeah, man. I'm a big fan. Keep playing, seriously.

  • moving to me because it is a home. That's an art greater than I could ever produce. I remember playing on out of tune pianos constantly for 5 years, and this brought me right back to simpler times. I think the chair adds a nice effect. The peace of the world begins right in our own homes, and the sounds in this video just seem to shout that to the world. Great music, my friend. I like Bill Evans a lot, and you did this piece more than justice. Keep playing.

  • zebra...

  • not only oil the seat but tune the piano. How could anyone massacre this haunting piece? Oy vey!!!!!!!

  • STOP it! Tune the piano, pleeeez.....

  • to my ears you need to tune that thing...

    thanks!

  • actually i dig the out of tune piano. always have, always will, probably because i like the oscillation within the chord structures. It sounds to shimmering and deep, like the ocean
