This is a complete display of all poly signals only the two 8 inch arrow lenses are glass. The LED is a bimodual which is in the 12 inch housing facing the other direction. I did not paint any of these signals I decided instead to paint the pole and the hardware yellow. Thats how it used to be only a couple of years ago around here. i will never paint anything yellow if I can avoid it again. This is the third time with 3 different paints and it is always a nightmare.

  • I noticed that your signal has two 8 inch arrows. I believe it is hard to find 8-8-8 signals that use a green arrow and sometimes a yellow arrow nowadays.

  • @Steven197981 thats because they are not legal to use anymore, only 12 inch lenses. I still love them and there is one still in use by my house just waiting for when they redo the intersction.

  • What kind of controller / sequencer did you use?

  • its a joez garage controller. Bought from a web site.

  • I have seen A LOT of the walk lenses around with the horizontal line over the WALK letters,Are they worth a lot?

  • sometimes they are on e-bay and they can be expensive this one is also homemade.

  • It is a violation of the MUTCD to show a walk signal and a green turn arrow where the traffic turning on the arrow crosses the crosswalk. A circular green or a flashing yellow arrow must be used.

  • @Trafficlightjim i once saw a traffic siganl red yellow green yellow arrow in 3m style

  • @Trafficlightjim They still use the 8 inch signals in Chicago even when the old 8 inch signals get knocked down.

  • I had a feeling that was the reason. I still see a few on the roads.
