Me and a friend in the audience watching Criss Angel perform a trick at the Aladdin in Vegas last year. Finally showed up on TV, haha.

  • Did he really get people to act surprised?

  • Nah. He came out of the Mindreak office/store thing with the camera guy and an assistant, said something like "Hi, thanks for coming, we're just trying different things for next season", did the trick, and left.

The whole thing lasted less than five minutes. There's very little missing from this video. Everyone appeared to be genuinely pleased. Heck, it's Vegas. Half the crowd was probably drunk anyway.

  • And at the end, why can you see the commercial part. I thought it was live!

  • Haha, no dude I recorded this off the TV. I only posted it to brag that we were on TV :p

  • i have two friends who live in vegas and they each say they were there for the taping of his tricks... one just happened to be at a casino or something and the other was there when he visited the shop for the thunderbirds. they both claim that the videos are very heavily edited and that he did each trick several times before they got what they wanted. was that the case here?

  • He only did the trick once but there is some editing. Notice at 1:02 the camera isn't showing Criss' hand and there's a quick jump cut. I'm next to the girl in red w/ the shopping bag so we had a clear view there. He pulled some sort of switcheroo out of a hat his assistant was holding. It was fairly obvious but done is a casual way that didn't cause a lot of suspicion until thinking about it afterward.

  • koooool

    it dint suk its awsome

    i do this trik too

nd this is the best performance ever of this

    no cuts required

  • It looks like a big crowd to have just gathered around him though. And even if people hated him as a magician, he still has his music career, so he wins either way!

  • i see. from what i hear, at some shoots they don't even care if it doesnt even appear that they're doing a magic trick, they just want a bunch of people to react like they are amazed.

  • It definitely sucked but I was there :p
