A very easy way to establish efficacy of improving cellular energy would be simple phase ll trial using patients with class 3-4 congestive heart failure. I'm suspicious of a "neuroscientist" not designated as a Ph.D. If I were doing these studies that showed reduced infarct damage in lab animals,I'd be showing electron micrographs of the animals with and without exposure to Poly-MVA. It would be easy enough to expose fruit flies to this agent and phenotypically validate effects.
