The Flabby Hoffman Trio has unfinished business, mainly in the form of this unfinished tone poem which is based on an inverted melodic phrase from Bartok's Empathy In Sea Minor combined with the theme song from the Hardcastle And McCormick TV series with lyrics lifted directly from Twilight Of The Idols by Freddie Nietzsche. The FH Trio for a number of years has been trying to create a new poignant and resonant artistic movement by combining elements of the Bauhaus School with The Mickey Mouse Club primarily through injecting a fluid suspension of cough syrup and liquefied pork riddled with trichinosis directly into their neck veins. After numerous bad trips, they finally decided that if they were going to truly find a way to transcend to a higher plane, they might try music rather than homemade drug concoctions. Thus far nothing has worked. Turns out that our culture has been dumbed down so much that any thoughts of making a more intense, artistic and empowering culture was a fallacy. So they named their next album "Phallusy" which was both a comment on how low brow society had become as well as a nod of the old chapeau towards it's infantile nature.
