I remember the color Techtronics printers around Xerox Center I and Xerox Centre II (El Segundo) which used solid ink technology... and the 2700 and 3700 network printers, 6085 and 8010 workstations at Xerox Centre I, Xerox Centre II and DBSU (Documenter Business Services Unit) El Segundo. Now all those buildings are gone.....

Thanks funny! When I was in the 3rd or 4th grade some guy from IBM came in to the school and told us by the time we were in college that we would not be using paper. I am nearly 50 now. Seems like lots of paper all over the place!

8560DN Too expensive to run , Blocks too many times, Worked great for 2 months. Have to Keep Cleaning Blocked heads, which waists more ink,

Why is everyone so cynical? Solid ink may not be the technology that single handedly saves the world, but it is better for the Earth.
Eg. you can get better mileage in your car by having an optimal tire pressure - are you angry about that too?
