They get auto-tuned because of their music style. Their music style is electro-pop, so it's hard to show off a pretty voice in this kind of music, specially if a famous techno dj makes your tracks. I've heard them singing by themselves, no autotune, and they're pretty good at it, especially A-chan, she has a awsomely damn good voice!

Hey, the actual meaning of "Ordinary" they say is not "middle road" but it is close to "Ideal".

@AbePwns not just that, the band had objected to the auto-tuning by the company originally. I've heard their songs without autotune and they actually do have that type of harmonous voice, ergo they don't even need to have their voices autotuned.
