Now just to tell you people, no, this is not an Animation Lookback thing. I also do reviews of animated films released in theatres. I watched this film a couple of days after Christmas, and I wrote on whats on my mind right after. I wrote it because my old mic broke, but now, I got a new one so everything's good. And for those of you concerned about if The Princess and the Frog is gonna be on Animation Lookback or not, I decided that yes, it will be on one of the parts.

I'm confused, what was the one thing that made the villain not a good villain? I haven't seen this movie yet, but I really want to!

4- The animation is 10/10, Charlotte's frantic movements are incredible and their timing is IMPECCABLE. They REALLY experimented in movements and animation styles.

That I do have to admit, it my biggest regret for this video. If I can change the video right now, I'd give the animation 10/10, but the overall is still 8/10.

i like your review and i love this movie.

but what was the flaw the dr. facilier hand? my would be that tthey didn't have enough of him and him using his magic and that they didn't go into a little backstory of how he got his powers and the deal with the lo (the voodoo masks).

Well, for me, it's his side plan to take over New Orleans. They should have only put the plan of getting everybody's souls and give them all to the "friends on the other side". I disagree about using his powers, and his backstory. He only said one sentence about it but that one sentence said it all.

Naveen is from a made up country called Maldonia in Europe. Apparently they talk in a Brazilian accent.

This is probably my favorite Disney movie, mostly for the songs -as jazz is my life- and every time they mention those sweet, savory, mouth watering bengets (or however you spell them) I have a..... What happens when a girl gets ultimate pleasure from doing it.

Ray speak in a Creole accent which explains the hick and french. its not like that now in todays times but back in the 20s and 30s

Actually Ray doesn't speak with a Hillbilly accent, even in the movie he says this, he's Cajun, and his accent is VERY heavy, it is kinda hard to understan, yes. but, i for one, love it anyway, lol.

I loved Princess and the Frog, mainly because of the characters and music. The music, for obvious reasons, the awesome side characters, and the relationship between Tiana and Naveen was realistic and sweet at the same time, like Belle and Beast or Giselle and the dude from Grey's anatomy (forget name). That was why I didn't care for Tangled, for me at least, I didn't feel the love between the two until the last half hour, unlike other Disney movies where I could feel the connection throughout.

as far as I'm conserned, Mat, buddy, Randy Newman is probably the best Disney Song Writter since Alan Meinken.

either that, or he and Alan share the same spotlight
