Raw Video: Oakland City Hall Break-in on Tape

The Oakland Police Dept. has released surveillance video of what it describes as Occupy protesters breaking into Oakland City Hall Saturday night. More than 400 people were arrested when protesters clashed with police. (Feb. 1)

I think a cardworld1 has some issues and needs to get help. Listen many of us know it is coming, but we prepare for it in a respectful manner. Looting and destroying property isn't going to fix anything. Like you said, the tax payers money paid for everything that these fools are destroying. This is clearly staged. To begin with, I would be skeptical regarding the ease with which entry was gained, using what amounts to a large slim jim. Is security absent that is normally present? The first person entering knew that device used to hold the door open would be in its location as it was placed there intentionally. Those that assisted him were adept, as though it was rehearsed. The first group entering made a beeline to a specific location, perhaps to get the flag.

Best was in the UK on a documentary about the IRA they showed footage they claimed was the IRA bringing down a helicopter that was actually footage from the PC game Arma II.

But its people like you who are the problem, putting locks and cameras on everything. Good people don't need locks to know not to break into something. Crime is only a symptom of the larger problem. First of all; THIS IS NOT RAW VIDEO - it is edited. Second; shouldn't city hall be harder to break into than a 1984 Honda Accord? The door was not pried open, it was "jimmied" open with a wire bent at 90 degrees. This is the same way to get in the back door of a movie theater.
