In this clip, user-controlled West Virginia runs the speed option. The CPU-led Pitt Panthers are using random defenses out of 4-3 Under.

The goal of the video is to show if the late pitch issue of 08 has been addressed, so the QB was intentionally running into/near defenders and then trying to pitch the ball.

  • lol goodjob you averaged like 3 yards a carry

  • ....theres no way its this hard...Ive played the demo and I run the option just like I did in 08...

  • I'm guessing you didn't read the description for the video. The goal was to show if late pitches were still an issue; not to try and score TDs every play.

Also, the option defense is improved in the final version as compared to the demo.

  • @emerson555 Who cares. formations are all about big plays these days a team who has a good option eats up clock time, wears down the defence and when they are not looking score. so gtfo

  • u suck ass

  • thats the whole point of the option. The quarterback is reading the d end. If the d end attacks the running back the quarter back carries the ball. If the d end is going after quarterback he pitches the ball to the running back.

  • i've had success by not swithching the play and just cutting back real hard at the snap of the ball that is with a quarterback with decent speed too though

  • running back kyle nessmith

  • ya thats happened many times as well

  • thanks i'll try that....

  • But it sucks because sometimes the linemen don't block for you if you dont run where you're suppose to and you get tackled for a loss lol

  • At least have a spy or two.

  • that damn D end is not gettin blocked lol
