  • I am astounded...I will be on that exact Vaustralia flight from Brisbane on May 12th 2010....how cool was that!

  • of course boeing has sold more 737`s they are around since the 60s-70s how long is the airbus 320 around ? since the 90s ...

  • airbus had the winglets before boeing did

  • Saab 240??? not sure what Rex you are flying for!!! As for your B vs AB rant, AB was the first to fly a widebody twinjet..at the time B said the market would never accept a wide body twin....when the 767 entered service, the A300 had a much wider cabin...Boeing said narrower widebodies were better for performance, now they say the 787 is wider than the existing AB and this is what is best...when the A320 came out, again B said FBW is a waste on commercial aircraft...funny how it comes around!

  • Why are you so convinced that boeing is better than airbus ? In europe, most of the planes are Airbuses... And FYI, the A340 was supposed to be the most powerful 2 engines plane in the world, but just when it was about to come out, the US imposed that any plane who was flying accross the atlantic must have at least 3 engines. So Airbus added 2 more... And when the 777 came out, the US abolished this law...

  • Nup I just fly them. ATM it Saab 240's for Rex and I believe they r almost better to fly than a 737 or an a320 due to their size. Lol I wonder where the don't build any planes comment came from anyway. If airbus can teach the Chinese y can't I?

  • Haha dumbass I'm aus dad works 4 Boeing as a salesmen and we r dealing with the VB order! Yer I'm biast and yer it's great for ur input but boeings r soo much nicer. Just look at wat airbus has just done! Copy boeings winglets for it's a320 and which widebody aircraft is flying first a350 (which isn't all composite) or the dreamliner!!! And wat a dud the a380 will b they can't fill em now so who's ever gonna want s bigger one. B747-8 is a much better size and more cost effective as an airliner.

  • No, Boeing and Airbus are both great aircraft makers.
