Mr Excel, your old school method: Filter by selection is not helping me. I'm using Excel 2010, and after creating a table of data, I click on 'Filter' but it doesn't filter in only the selected value (in your example 'ETRADE'). How did u do that ?

I am glad that you liked it!
With this data setup, use Sort or DMIN. The MIN IF IF formula is only efficient when the data is not in a database-setup.

Great video and either way is ok for me.

The DMIN is the best way amongst all the options!!
If you wtach the Highline Excel Class Series (59 videos about 20 min each), you will be able to do 100s of things your teachers don't know about!

Hehe, I'll stop cropping up on all of your videos when you stop making interesting videos (a looooooonng time in the future.) The first method looks the easiest, and certainly what my ICT teacher would expect the class do, I can't see the idiots I sit with doing that MIN/IF formula in less than three lessons :P.
