Oh Elaine, Elaine come out, babe....

... Was it The Whale that Wanted to Sing at the Met? It was a famous cartoon in Disney's Make Mine Music I believe, Eddy Nelson did this with three different tones of his voice.

I listened to this a long time ago and it was all male voices without the female screech stuff.

wow I don't really listen to this type of music but that was great!

I just added a link to Rolandi's turn as the Ugly Step Sister from Cinderella which I claimed was the best single opera video on YouTube.
You decide.

@colino72 I don't hear a particularly good blend of the voices either. My favorite version of this is a 1990 recording with Cheryl Studer, Placido Domingo, Samuel Ramey, Juan Pons, Fernando de la Mora, and Jennifer Larmore. The individual voices are beautiful and the balance and blend of the voices is just about perfect. These are singers who really worked together to produce a marvelous sextet. Nobody is grandstanding to be heard over the others.

@operamor Hmm, it is always a bit of a pissing contest. The baritone is bellowy, for my liking. He doesn't seem to be trying to blend accordingly with the rest. Apart from that, I think it is OK.

Excellent performance. Kind of a funny sextet though. Only five singers are
listed above.
What production is there and from where? Do you know?
