@aeromina And so all in all, this video is so far away from the intended meaning of love in that bible quote that even despite the homeopathically low dose of truth in what your saying that anyone seriously interested in the sacredness of that scriptural phase would have to consider it a lie.
You might as well show pornography or prostitutes with this quote, you'd also be able to argue for union between two people there as in harmony with the quote.

@aeromina Secondly, the kind of marriage depicted there isn't even romantic because it is obvious that especially the woman chooses the partner not exclusively for his primary qualities, but also for his secondary qualities (symbolized by suit and tie and all that bullshit) which he acquired through competition against other males as well as against the best of nature.
Marriage that rests on such secondary qualities of a man isn't even romantic, it's a thinly veiled form of prostitution.

@aeromina If it really is romantic, you'd have a minute little point, even though still then It would account for a minute fraction of it. And even so, the intended "agape" only refer to the agape part of the romantic relationship, not to the 99,9% materialistic and vitalistic selfishness that drives romance, i.e. sex, procreation, survival, belonging etc.
1 Cor 13 has nothing to do with romantic relationships or the nuclear family as the driving force of capitalism - ultimate the antithesis of love.

@LooksAeterna , This part of the bible describes LOVE in general meanings relating to every kind of relationships either romantic or not . That's my opinion ... Christianity believes that relationship between man and his wife is the finest and highest kind of relationships after his relation with God himself , that's why divorce is forbidden as it a "unity between 2 persons" , as the bible states ...
