Be careful when you try to do the transmision change ofenly you must change the Hub and seal kit , is logical that when you disasemble probably you find the hub is stucked to the central axe & is very dificult to take it out without damege it , this dependas how old is the machine.

Is this unit one that was built by Amana before it was bought out by Maytag. The original Speed Queen was built by Mc Graw Edison and had a fluid drive.

how does the agitator come off theres no bolt holding it on. I think the trains is going on my 96 commerical grade speed queen

When you lifted the lid slightly towards the end of the video, the machine appeared to be agitating and filling with water at the same time. I think that is a problem and could be the source of transmission failure.
Thats for the tip, I will check it out ans report back if that is happening. It is in a motel and gets used several times a day.
