  • I have said before. If you can provide photos of those men and worriers I would be more than happy to include them.

  • "Blame the Leaders who triggered the Imperialistic mindsets which started these wars"

    We do believe me !!!

  • Hi Laurrie. Thanks for your comment. Yes you are correct there are not many photo's of the other ranks and files. It there was they would have been included.

  • A lot of the names are mangled. At 2:53 we have Quartermaster Edward. Edward who? Nice photos, but I'd love to be able to place faces to all the names I've been reading in books.

  • @ImperialistRunningDo

Sorry about that. It was my first attempt. But your right. I will rectify the problem.

  • The Zulu War was 131 years ago, there was no U.N. The reason I made the video is to remember the men that took part and died during that war. I have no interest in the political reasons. Governments are the makers of war. “Where are the Zulu’s” If you could send me photos of the Zulus that died during the war. I would surely be glad to post them.

  • It is good that these men are not forgotten. God bless them and the Zulus.

  • It is a fine thing to remember these men but do not forget the brave enlisted men and the heroic Zulu warriors who also fell in this war

  • @MrZuluwar1879

because officers were more likely able to afford a 'snap'

  • As an African Man with Zulu Blood,I got to put my blood lines aside and give props to the guy who made this Video. He's just giving a homage to the young man who lost their lives fighting a War they should have not been involved in.They were just following their orders,so Blame the Leaders who triggered the Imperialistic mindsets which started these wars. But my heart goes out to all those who died in that War from both Zulus to British.

  • @MrClean3381 of course the british do not like more than one disaster a day, looks bad in the newspapers and upsets the civilians at their breakfast

  • @MrZuluwar1879 i am told that one of the survivors of rorkes drift id buried in he bacchus marsh cemetery ( vicoria australia) dont know yhe name. p.s. the background music sounds very like the last of the mohicans soundtrack

  • nice video interesting to see the face of the poeple i have read about.it is sad that they were killed.but if you want a even more sad story read about what happened to those who servived the war and how they ended up.

  • @Laurrrie111 Or Princes. Emperor Napoleon IV (known as the Prince Imperial and killed at Ulundi, 1st of June 1879) being objectively the highest ranking casualty.
