I was just watching a TV show and they said its often because they feel threatened by something below (can be caused by boat engines too)

Cool video. Seen a couple of comments asking "Why". Generally, the consensus is to remove parasites. Which would sort of fit with the video footage. The bubbles tickling under the ray might have stimulated a parasite reaction (someone else suggested this in thread). If you don't think so. Go stick your feet in one of those "fish foot spa" appearing everywhere (or in a rockpool where it's free). Then do same with some bubbles when diving. Similar sensation even to a thick skin. Good capture.

I had/have a Sony Mini DV camcorder, not HD unfortunately :-( otherwise I could have made money with it.
