Rep. Jerry Nadler speaks with Glenn Greenwald of Salon Radio to discuss the reforms of the State Secret privilege that are proposed in his "State Secret Protection Act." The proposed reforms would regulate a court's ability to dismiss a lawsuit simply because the Executive Branch claims that the very consideration of the case would compromise state secrets. Congressman Nadler's bill would, for the first time, regulate the use of the State Secret Privilege, which he describes as the greatest threat to civil liberties in the United States.
