Love love love Marty to death. He is incredible live. Saw the Church in 1988 and everybody in the audience was spellbound by Marty. They were trying to get over to the right side of the stage where he was playing. Unfortunately I was stuck way back on the wrong side.

This is actually a Church show (minus Steve for the night) from the Box of Birds tour. I think the tour name was different though. Live from the Bowery Ballroom in NYC as I remember.

Another interesting song from the Church's past. I surmise this is a Marty Willson-Piper solo show recently, as Marty looks a lot older than the "Remote Luxury" period. Although "only" an album track, it's another one of my Church favorites--in fact, I have a soft spot for almost all the Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes songs recorded by the Church.

this is great,,,thanks for posting

one of the most underrated bands in the rock arena- call it what you will,poprock,whatever- but these guys have consistently produced noteworthy compositions and busted through the grind of touring with the same great attitude and charisma- great blend of light and dark- I hope they keep at it!

Wonderful performance sir. I love everything The Church has ever made!
Can't hold it against you that you forget your own stuff sometimes -- you've done soooo many great songs.
