Marley was relieved of his burden on 4/13/09. He was strong, but the seizures were stronger. He came into Foster Care in rescue as a stepping stone to finding his Forever Home. Little did we know that he had found his Forever Home in us. He brought so much love and happiness into our home and shared it with every one he met. He even touched those who had not met him. Marley impacted more lives in the short time he was with us than any of us realize, both in life and in death. He was dearly loved by his friends and family. He is now waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. He is in full vigor, free of seizures and fully able to see and hear. We will meet again one day and will cross the Bridge together. We will always love you. Rest in Peace Marley Love Mom and Dad
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am so very sorry for your loss this video touched my heart. I lost my little deaf Aussie/Heeler Feb. 26th. She was ran over in a tragic accident which resulted as of a lack of experience with deaf dogs. My baby girl Dakota enlightened my life and brought joy. laughter and love into my heart so I know the pain of your loss. Dakota and Marley will play at Rainbow Bridge together and wait for their final rescue when we shall all meet again. They are not gone just simply gone ahead...
