  • Exactly. QTQ news service is suffering, from the influx of youth, exodus, and from the sacrifice of Extra all at once.

I'm watching TVQ's 5pm news gain new viewers at expense of a game show fight to the death between 7 and 9.

At this time, Seven is coming a deep third in SEQ at 5:30, down from joint 1st in early 2009.

  • for gods sake.... if channel nine are so desprate to win their ratings back then wth are they doing?? I mean seriously im just saying why doesnt extra come back seen as this afternoons been ditched

  • We want Extra BACK ASAP, Please Channel 9 and Wake up for Brissys Sake

  • What's worse, is Seven won't fill the gap.

I don't want to watch Eddie or AOK, instead I'm watching TVQ's news, in the vain hope Seven dumps DoND for a local Brisbane program sooner or later.

I'd rather have Deal at 5, local program at 5:30 and news at six, than a networked schedule.

  • A terrible decision. Nine please reconsider

  • I've just been reading comments about this on the Courier-Mail website...a lot of patriotic Queenslanders are pissed about this....especially since it's being replaced by a Sydney-based show (and, to an extent, a Melbourne-based show as well)

  • I'm expecting her to move back into Nine News again. If only for the weekends, as Andrew Lofthouse might take weekdays...
