Sandy River flood onto Lolo pass road 2011 HQ video

Unedited HD footage of the 2011 lolo pass flood removed 10,000 feet of road and the river changed channels to where the road once was cutting off power, phone and stranding hundreds who live in zig zag village and above. I also uploaded all of my lower quality i phone video under the same search tags

@dlhbyh7 Lolo pass road is 17 miles east of sandy, the above footage was taken just north of the intersection of lolo pass and barlow trail road

Nicely Documented, easy to follow and understand the damage. Quite a sight seeing river rocks settled into the road, that's power!!!

Wow. You captured some great footage! My parents were one of the last cars through this area before anyone realized that the river had taken the road. They almost didn't make it from Lolo Pass on to Barlow Trail. Seeing this video makes me so grateful that they were not hurt.
