ROCHESTER, NY - Wrestling fans, accept no imitations -- For years wrestler Matt Borne entertained children around the world as the character Doink the Clown in the WWF. After his brief stint in ECW, Borne took a hiatus from wrestling, leaving the Doink attire behind, and casting a legacy of many imitators.

But in September of 2000, Borne donned the Doink costume again for New Millennium Wrestling to take on Chip Stetson. This was to be Borne's last match as Doink and his retirement match, however he later would wrestle as the clown at WWE Raw's 15th Anniversary Show in 2007. Long live Matt Borne.

  • When I was senior referee for USCW back in the mid 90's, I worked with 6 different Doinks on 8 shows...Matt was one of them...still have a bud back in Pittsburgh who does Doink and did work for WWE as Doink the Clown...

  • Well this wasn't his last match as Doink because at JCW's Gathering of Legends and Icons 2011 he wrestled as Doink again.

  • 0:49 Doink: im too old for this shit

  • That`s definitely not Matt Bourne...

  • What a lively crowd

  • The Doinker seems to be hittin' the bars more than the gym

  • HE got fat as heck

  • wow,Matt Bourne was in great shape back then, now its terrible to see him that sort of condition he is in.

  • @RochesterWrestling Also, he took no Haitus from wrestling, he worked fot WCCW/ECCW wrestling here in Vancouver BC. And even funnier, he was still doing so in September 2000.
