19.06.2011 - Thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin in outfits identical to the children's book character 'Where's Wally' in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the number of people dressed as 'Where's Wally'.

That explains it. I was wondering as I walked about Dublin that day. Some of them I saw also went to see Take That Progress Live concert at Croke Park that evening. Provided a very fun game for me to find Wally at various parts of the stadium.

@dawgy1971 Must be marketed as Waldo in the U.S. but the original books are called Where's Wally.
