This is what House music is missing. The Soul, the Jazz, and nice crisp bassline, and some nice vocals to touch it off. 1990'S House had this vibe in abundance.

    Lets get back to it.

To all those people that missed the best period in House music 1988 to 1996 - we had tunes coming out nearly every single week like this especially from 1990 to 1996 it was as the Golden period. Can you imagine having all these artists all at the same time within House & Garage music: Mood 2 Swing, Roger Sanchez, Blaze, Kerri Chandler, The Burrell Brothers, Terry Hunter, Steve "Silk"Hurley, Master at Work, Todd Terry, Smack Productions, Grant Nelson, Todd Edwards, Ron Trent & making this music?

I only really heard new house music, and I don't really like it. Was looking for a hip hop sample to chop up and came across this. This is fucking sick!

You are spot on here. We were so lucky to live in the best period of black music...which to me was the 1980'S AND THE 1990'S. I know people will counter that by saying the 1960's is up there as well. And it is... But what makes the 1980's and 1990's special for me is that we finally had drum synthesisers and bass synthesesiers, samples; and yet all the producers and the musicians where still hell bent on making the music as SOULFUL, JAZZY OR FUNKY AS POSSIBLE VIA USING THESE NEW INSTRUMENTS!

your absolutely right. But I dont believe that any music should repeat itself, that wouldnt be creative. Move on and let new music come forth, forget the tripe you hear on popular radio, search the underground, listen to fresh EP's. The 80s 90s era of house/dance/garage was amazing, and theirs enough out there already to listen to if we ever feel inclined. It certainly takes me back.
