If its a Yamaha you don't need to use low gear unless you want to go really slow. I've owned 2 Yamaha ATV's and I've never had the need to use 4WD while hauling or towing anything so I don't know where that recommendation came from but its false.

hahahaha. the racks can hold way more thin what they are rated to. on are honda recon. the front says 33 pounds. i have put a 50 pound bail of hay on there. plus there are bolted to the frame. and i have pulled wayy more thin what it says. like iv pulled like 1000 pounds. it is a 250cc.

all of its rubbish! ive got a 2wd kawasaki klf 300 bayou 1986 and i have a 8x5 trailer on it, 4 5 layers of hay and 5 on the back of the quad and 3 on the front and it works fine. i go round corners at 15mph+. he talks nonsence!
