I am a Brit who was living in Jinja from Oct 1990 to April '91. I walked through the market many times. What an experience those few months were. I'm married to a Ugandan now and hopefully we'll be in Jinja with our children in a few weeks - I'm so excited about seeing all the changes in Uganda, and showing our children around the country.

I glad you liked it. This video was made in 1990. Maybe you were there at the time. Probably not much has changed in the meantime. I loved the people, the market, the whole experience of a Mzunga in the Uganda.

The video doesn't capture half of the sights and sounds. Truely a place to be savored.
