Electroluminescent "Jacobs Ladder"
Created using LyTec electroluminescent (EL) wire, driven by a
IFW 3294 inverter (Coolight.com), with the Sparkfun.com EL Sequencer, an Arduino USB Board (arduino.cc), a WaveShield (adafruit.com) and a PIR Sensor.

  • You mean that's all I had to do... Here I used a model T ford coil hooked up to 1 F of capacitance (@ 12 V) charged by a flip of a switch to run my ladder. Then again I was using my coil to run the electric pews for Halloween. People said they had a spiritual uplifting experience.
